Would you like to help make a difference in the lives of others and spread God’s grace?    Our missions committee is reorganizing to choose, spearhead, and plan for local and long distance mission opportunities.

We need people interested in all aspects of mission planning - those who want to carry out the mission projects as well as those persons who prefer to work behind the scenes planning, preparing for and supporting the mission teams.

Next Mission Committee meeting:  Monday, February 20, 5:30 p.m.

Mission Emphasis:  February

Appalachia Service Project

Our Mission Emphasis for February is the Christian ministry, Appalachia Service Project.  The ASP is open to all people and inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair help in Central Appalachia.  In July of this year Grace will be sending 10 youth and 5 adult leaders to the Appalachian Mountains to help make homes warmer, safer and dryer for families in need.  The cost for each individual is approximately $500, which includes building materials, lodging, meals and transportation.  Each student will be required to pay a portion of this fee, but we would like to limit our student's financial responsibilities as much as possible.
Please donate to this mission with your heart because you're not only helping people in need, but also investing in the spiritual growth of our church's youth. .

Please keep them in your prayers and use the Mission envelope in the pew pocket or mark your donation "Missions"

We would also like to help those who have specific needs within our church and immediate community!

If you have any needs that can be addressed, please contact our team.  Currently we can help by providing volunteers for those who need some help around the house with chores and yard work.
